Newly qualified lawyers deal directly with clients under the supervision and direction of client managers within the various practice groups, which provides an excellent grounding in specialist practice areas. They also receive high-quality individual attention and continuous assessment, in addition to the varied training programs.

Legal secretaries are a great asset to the Firm and require excellent technical, communication and time management skills. As legal secretarial work involves a high degree of paper production as well as pressure of tight deadlines, various training programs are available.

Realizing the fact that most of our work is done under pressure, social events prove vital. It is important to us that we get to know our team not just within the office environment, but also in more informal settings. Shalakany Law Office Internship program

Shalakany Law Office offers one-month summer internships during July and August. Shalakany Law Office offers work experience to law students during their holidays.



The Firm seeks to encourage a strong and lasting relationship with the trainees to whom internship opportunities are made available. We are keen to offer as much assistance and encouragement to students wishing to embark on a career in law.

Work assignments
We make every effort to give our summer interns a rounded view of law practice. Interns’ assignments are designed to provide a variety of substantive work and the broadest possible exposure to our lawyers. We guarantee to provide you with real tasks and research projects.

Lawyers at Shalakany Law Office regularly contribute to the training of law students during July and August by giving out of their time, skills and legal expertise.

It is as much a chance for students to gain some practical legal experience, as it is for us to assess whether the students fit in with us as potential future members.

Who We Want

We look for candidates with an excellent academic record but who are also enthusiastic, committed to the law, and with an outgoing and engaging personality. They should display strong commercial awareness, the ability to think for themselves and polished interpersonal and social skills.

View of Law Practice is provided

Interns’ assignments are designed to provide a variety of substantive work and the broadest possible exposure to our lawyers. The interns are assigned to senior attorneys, who provide theoretical and procedural exposure to a variety of legal problems. The Firm also offers lectures delivered by attorneys and senior staff on subjects of concern to young legal professionals.
