Born in 1934, El Gebali graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo. He also studied at the Institute of Fine Arts in Urbino, Italy, before gaining a scholarship for Art Research in Netherlands.

El Gebali is a master of Graphic Art. His achievement and sensitivity make him one of the most important Egyptian Lithographers. Calligraphic elements are reconstructed into shapes reminiscent of Egyptian Architecture, his distinctive and subtle colors characterized by their simplicity, highlight both the foreground and the background.

In the constellations of color and form, El Gebali succeeds in producing rhythmic arrangements, changing the internal movement of the elements into the main theme of his compositions.

Gazbia Sirry was born in 1925 in Cairo, Egypt. Sirry is considered one of the leading Egyptian artists, with a varied and innovative career of more than 50 years. she studied fine arts and became a professor in the painting department of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Cairo. Gazbia was also a professor at the American University in Cairo. The paintings of Sirry capture the relationship between feminist consciousness and advocacy of women, history, fascism, and Islamic futurism.
