Shalakany obtains an Exequatur on a Foreign Ship Mortgage Contract
Shalakany is pleased to announce that it has obtained an exequatur on a foreign ship mortgage contract with respect to a vessel seized in the Suez Canal. Shalakany began handling the enforcement on the ship at the end of the year 2020 and has secured an exequatur on a foreign mortgage contract between its Client and the owner of the seized ship. The procedures of the enforcement were difficult but the outstanding performance of Shalakany’s dispute resolution team ensured a successful outcome.
