Seif Wanly was born in 1906 in Alexandria, Egypt, into an aristocratic family of Turkish origin. Wanly was an Egyptian painter best known for his brilliantly colored depictions of street life in Egypt and performers on stage. He went on to study painting under the Italian artist Otorino Becchi Today, his work can be found at the Seif and Adham Wanly Museum in Alexandria and the Mathaf Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha.

Hussein Bicar was born in 1913 in Alexandria, Egypt. Bicar was one of Egypt’s most prominent artists of the 20th century. In 1934 he graduated from the Cairo higher school of fine arts. He is credited for initiating a style of journalistic art that elevated illustrating for news papers to a level close to that of the fine art, he is known for his simple and clear style reflecting the influence of pharaonic art with its harmony, serenity and mystic. Being the first Egyptian artist to illustrate Arabic children's books, Bicar has played a major role in establishing and promoting this field.

Abdel-Ghani Abou El-Enein was born in 1929 in Cairo, Egypt. in 1951, he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Cairo. Abou El-Enein participated in editing and publishing a large number of Egyptian and Arab newspapers and magazines (e.g. Rose Al-Youssef, El Tahrir and Sabah Al Kheir). In 1958, he started designing theatre decorations. Abou El-Enein was the manager of the Folklore Center from 1962 untill 1982.

Abdelwahab Morsi was born in 1931 in Al Sharkeia, Egypt. Morsi is an Egyptian Postwar & Contemporary artist. In 1957, he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Cairo. Morsi, in 1971, went for free studies in engraving in the university of San Fernando, Spain. Morsi's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging from USD 6,537 to USD 6,890. In 1971, he got the second award in the 3rd international triennial, Barcelona, Spain.

George Bahgoury was born in 1932 in a small village in Nag Hammadi, Upper Egypt. In 1953, he embarked on his career as a political cartoonist. In 1955, he studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Cairo, under the guidance of the Egyptian artist Hussein Bikar. In 1970, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. Bahgoury’s artwork has been widely displayed in galleries and museums, including the Louvre Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in Amman.

Esmeralda Haddad was born in 1949. Haddad received a diploma from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Paris and was a founding member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists and member of numerous arts and cultural committees. Well known for her role in promoting the arts, Haddad curates exhibitions and works with various associations for the advancement of the arts.
